Last Saturday was a first for me. I photographed a gender reveal or a cake cutting, to reveal the sex of the latest addition to Halee and Peter's family.

The house was a buzz with everyone claiming to know the gender of the new arrival, wearing blue thinking it was a boy or pink if it was a girl. However, there was only one who truly knew, Mel, the cake sculptor.

The moment had arrived, who was to be victorious? The boys or the girls?

It was the girls!

But not everyone was so happy...........

Poor Connor, just wanted a little brother!
